Last month, ZALORA welcomed the arrival of British fashion labels, TOPSHOP and TOPMAN, with a launch party held in one of the cities coolest locations — The Warehouse, Art Printing Works Bangsar. To mark the occasion, ZALORA hosted an activity filled evening, with the highlight of the night being the unveiling of the region’s first 360-degree virtual reality videos. Guests were given an exclusive and immersive behind the scenes look into the making of ZALORA’s OWN TOPMAN NOW and TOPSHOP AT ZALORA editorial photo shoots via virtual reality headsets at the event.
The rise of 360 and VR video technology in Fashion allows viewers to enjoy a completely new and innovative experience, whilst enhancing their online shopping experience, signaling the growing role that tech is playing in the Fashion ecommerce space.
“Fashion power players TOPSHOP and TOPMAN are great additions to ZALORA’s exciting brand portfolio. Through this collaboration, ZALORA will continue its commitment to bring the best global fashion brands to style-minded women and men across the Southeast Asian region, Hong Kong and Taiwan. With our sophisticated logistics infrastructure, our tech-savvy customers can now shop seamlessly on-the-go 24/7 via multiple channels and devices and receive purchases straight to their doorsteps.”
